'Now is a good time' to invest in commercial property

Now is a "reasonable time" for people to think about commercial
property investment vehicles, according to one industry
commentator.
Andrew Pitts, editor at personal finance and investment magazine
Money Observer, said that such an option could be considered by
those who want to generate a yield and an income from their
investment.
"Commercial property does offer some interesting opportunities at
the moment. It should be predominantly seen from an income
perspective and not a capital gains perspective," stated Mr
Pitts.
His comments follow the publication of statistics from Reita, a
specialist adviser in real estate investment trusts, which the
London Stock Exchange defines as a company that owns and manages
property on behalf of shareholders.
The figures revealed that 95 per cent of experts have noticed an
improvement in the property fund market over the past three
months.
They also indicated that more than half of people believe the
difference to be "significant".
