Expert predicts positive future for property market

The worst of the property crash seems to be over in the UK, it has
been suggested.
According to Malcolm Harrison, an independent property specialist,
there have been many reports over the past few months about the
positive position the sector is now in.
London and the south-east are still a little behind the rest of the
country in terms of how quickly they are picking up, he
admitted.
However, Mr Harrison explained that the rental market in particular
is improving.
"What everybody is now suggesting is that we are now bottoming out,
that it's not likely to get worse, but it doesn't follow that it
couldn't get worse," he stated.
Published yesterday, the Bank of England Agents' Summary of
Business Conditions revealed that the housing market is continuing
to pick up as there has been an increase in the number of
enquiries, transactions and offers made.
There were also more reports of activity from first-time
buyers.
